Louth company named Guaranteed Irish Business of the Year

Louth company Uniquely, is celebrating being awarded not one, but two awards at the Guaranteed Irish Business Awards 2025.

Uniquely was honoured in the Professional Services category and claimed the Guaranteed Irish Business of the Year award. The event was recently held in The Round Room at The Mansion House and hosted by Irish comedian Mario Rosenstock.

Gerard Teahon, Founder and CEO of Uniquely said:

“This recognition is incredibly meaningful to us, not just because of the awards themselves, but because of what they represent: quality, innovation and genuine commitment to Ireland—its people, its communities and its future. We’ve always held fast to a very simple but powerful idea: investing in Ireland and Irish people is the best way to build a sustainable, successful business.

“To everyone who has supported us—our staff, our partners, our suppliers and the communities we serve—thank you.”

In addition, the company’s relaunch last year from SalesSense International, in partnership with RichardsDee, caught the attention of the judges at the Transform Europe Awards. Alongside some of Europe’s most recognisable corporate brands and leading global agencies, Uniquely was awarded two Silver accolades — Best Naming Strategy and Best Visual Identity in the Professional Services sector.

Gerard continued:

“These awards mean that our strategy landed, our creativity resonated, and our belief in doing things differently was seen. It’s been a winning strategy for our business – our website traffic, brand recognition and LinkedIn engagement scores have all increased. What’s more, almost 90% of our people feel aligned with our new brand. As we are growing across sectors and expanding into new markets our rebrand is part of our overall mission of raising the bar for sales and service.”

The business currently employs over 275 staff working in every county in Ireland and has donated refurbished laptops to local schools and supporting sporting clubs and counties such as Louth GAA and Dundalk FC, to its teams' fundraising for causes including Save Our Homeless Dundalk.

Last month, Uniquely also announced its expansion into the UK with an over £20 million investment, creating 300 new UK jobs across the west midlands, northwest and Scotland contributing to economic growth and innovation.
