This event will bring experts together from various tourism projects around Ireland and abroad so that people can replicate it in their own business.

Dundalk Chamber set to host a cross border tourism conference

Now is the time to book your free place or stand at a major tourism conference titled “Growing your visitors- learning from the best”, which is organised by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by ZOMA, Louth County Council, Local Enterprise Office Louth, Failte Ireland and The Marshes Shopping Centre.

This event will bring experts together from various tourism projects around Ireland and abroad so that people can replicate it in their own business.

There will be practical tips and workshops on how to improve your tourism business so you can increase your sales and boost attendance figures at your attraction.

There will be various speakers at the event including:

- Sabhbh Ni Mhaolagain, Tourism Office Louth County Council will discuss “Visit Louth - A Vision for Tourism in County Louth”

- Donal Minihane, Hotel Doolin Co. Clare will discuss “An Example of a community focused hotel in a tourism town”.

- David Kieran, ZOMA will discuss “The use of AI in Tourism”.

- Professor Terry Stevens- Tourism Trend Analysist & Commentator and Harry John – - Head of Market Switzerland for Saint Elmo’s Tourism and Owner of Pure Solution Ltd and Linking Brands Ltd Berne/Vienna will discuss “Transforming adventure tourism, destinations: new challenges, new players, new responsibilities and new opportunities.

- Mary McKeown Tourism Service Manager Mid Ulster Council “OM Dark Sky Park & Observatory and Sperrin’s – Area of outstanding natural beauty. Current Visitor profile and value, collaborating with other tourism partners, what they think visitors are looking for and future plans.

- Pól Ó Conghaile- Travel Editor with the Irish Independent will cover the “10 Travel Trends in 2025!”
This half day event takes place on Wednesday the 2nd of April in the Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford from 8.30am to 2.30pm.

There will also be a Tourism Advisory Clinic with exhibits from various tourism providers and local organizations.

The event is free to attend but stands costs €100 plus vat.

This event is a must for all in the tourism and hospitality sector.
