Dundalk welcomes Brazilian Economic Attaché

George Marques, Brazilian Economic Attaché made a second visit to Dundalk recently hosted by Dundalk Chamber. This was his second visit in the last five months following his successful visit last September.

He met with a number of different businesses, both interested in importing and exporting to Brazil.  There was a broad range of businesses from SME to larger organisations in Agri, tourism, manufacturing and power generation.

Mario MacBlain, formerly of DkIT, attended, with PRO Paddy Malone explained the region’s history and future plans. These focused on the strategic importance of the MI corridor.

Louth LEO facilitated the event by making the Town Hall available as usual. There will be other visits from other embassies, depending on Chamber members requests.
