The 10th-anniversary celebration at the Garrett Mallon Design House in Carlingford was a wonderful day filled with warmth and community spirit, as visitors came from near and far to congratulate Garrett Mallon on this milestone.
“It was heartening to hear so many stories of pieces purchased for special occasions over the years, with some having travelled across the globe”, Garrett said.
The event also featured talented textile designer Martina Scott, known for her limited-edition Irish linen prints, and acclaimed ceramicist Sarah McKenna.
Both artists were delighted to engage with visitors, sharing insights into their work as the celebration coincided with August Craft Month and the start of National Heritage Week.
