Dundalk Chamber set to host free webinar for cross border workers

Dundalk Chamber of Commerce in association with the Derry Chamber and the Cross Border Partnership Employment Services will host a free business webinar on tax implications for cross border workers and employers.

It will take place via zoom on Wednesday the 28th August at 10am to 11am.

Guest speakers are Brendan Casey of PRSI Consultancy Ltd and Martin Casey of Cross Border Solutions.

Topics to be discussed include:

 - Should you take up the option to pay UK Voluntary Contributions before the deadline of April 2025 and what implications are there on your potential Irish State Pension entitlement by doing so.

 - Can I defer claiming my Irish Pension past age 66 (up to age 70) and still be in receipt of a UK/NI State Pension.

 -  Employing a cross border worker in a hybrid or working from home contract, what employers and employees need to be aware of.

 -  What the main tax reliefs are available to cross border employees. 

 -  Government employees the different tax rules and implications of hybrid working.
