The Downtown Hub said it is pleased to announce an upcoming exhibition by Creative Spark Print Studio member and internationally exhibiting artist Ilona Cigirova, launching on 12 March.

Ilona Cigirova, originally from Latvia in the Baltic region of Northern Europe, is an artist whose work is deeply influenced by the rich textile traditions of her homeland.

Now based in Dundalk, she continues to develop her practice through printmaking and material exploration, exhibiting in Latvia, Ireland, and Spain.

This forthcoming exhibition will feature a new body of cyanotype and print-based works, exploring texture, process, and the distinctive deep blue tones of this historic photographic technique.
