Loads of live music in Toales Rock Bar and Venue in Dundalk this weekend

There is plenty for every music lover at Toales Rock Bar and Live Venue in Dundalk this weekend.

Friday 12th December - D.M.C. presents "Doctors Without Borders" fundraiser featuring Rowan Murphy + guests - Doors 9pm - Admission €5.

Dundalk Music Collective continues its run of community-driven fundraisers with a warm, intimate night of music in support of Doctors Without Borders on Friday, December 12th.

This one brings the focus back to the songwriters — the storytellers — with a lineup built around some of the town’s brightest young voices.

At the centre of the evening is Rowan Murphy, the rising Dundalk artist whose indie-folk sound has been winning over audiences all year.

Known for her thoughtful lyricism, classic americana indie musicianship, and the emotional clarity of her new EP, she brings a quietly powerful presence that always resonates in a room built for listening.

Joining her are two performers who’ve been steadily carving out their own spaces in the local scene. Lucas McGeough brings a raw, heartfelt style shaped by sharp writing and an instinctive feel for melody.

He’s one of those artists who can hold a room with nothing more than a guitar and a gently delivered line.

Mark Durnin adds his own seasoned touch — reflective, open-hearted, and rooted in the kind of lived-in storytelling that defines so many of Dundalk’s strongest songwriters.

It’s a simple setup, but that’s the point. Three artists, one small room, and an audience coming together to raise funds for a cause that’s providing urgent medical support in crisis zones around the world.

Doors open at 8pm. Admission is just €5, with all proceeds going directly to Doctors Without Borders.

Expect a warm crowd, a night of honest performances, and a reminder of how strong the Dundalk scene is when it rallies for something bigger than itself.

Saturday 13th December - XSLF + The Gakk — Toales, Dundalk - Doors 8pm — Tickets €10 on sale now via Eventbrite or €12 on the night.

Get ready for a night of full-throttle punk energy as XSLF and The Gakk take over Toales Live Venue this December 13th.

Featuring original Stiff Little Fingers member Henry Cluney, XSLF carry the torch of one of punk’s most iconic legacies.

Expect the fire and fury of Belfast punk classics delivered with the power and precision that only veterans of the original scene can bring — raw, loud, and utterly uncompromising.

Sharing the stage are The Gakk, Dundalk’s own punk powerhouse and one of Ireland’s most vital underground acts.

Fresh off the release of their acclaimed new album An Unknown Substance On A Pristine Surface, The Gakk bring a live show packed with grit, melody, and socially charged intensity that hits as hard as ever.

And opening the night is Dundalk's favourite punk trio Fat Rabbit!!

It’s a night of old-school punk - where rebellion, noise, and authenticity collide in the heart of Dundalk’s original music scene.
