Originally from Bray, she’s carved her path through performances in Berlin, San Francisco, and all across Ireland.
Her debut album Handstitched was released in 2022 to widespread acclaim, praised for incredible vocals, with poignant and heartfelt lyrics reflecting the pressures and contradictions encountered living under capitalism.
Mr Anderson is the solo project of Alan Anderson, known locally as bassist with The Gakk and for other ventures like Podracer and Sluggers3.
He’s performed rare, lo-fi acoustic sets in the Fireside Sessions series before, presenting originals and unique covers in stripped-back form.
Expect a night of vulnerability, melodic truths, and heartfelt storytelling — Freely entering, deeply felt music, and the kind of up-close connection that makes Fireside Sessions one of Dundalk’s most beloved musical traditions.
Friday 14 November - PINETO CATS + NoVendors + Astraea - Toales, Dundalk - Doors 8pm - Admission €8
Toales presents yet another night of blistering original music from three acts redefining the contemporary Irish music scene.
Headlining are Pineto Cats, an indie rock outfit from Wicklow, whose sound fuses the grit of Led Zeppelin and Nirvana with the groove of Queens of the Stone Age and Pixies.
After years of reinvention, the band’s latest lineup delivers their most dynamic material yet — powerful, unpredictable, and steeped in raw emotion.
Main support comes from No Vendors, the Cavan four-piece who became local heroes after their Toales Battle of the Bands 2024 win and packed headline gigs.
They’re back with their trademark mix of swaggering riffs, anthemic choruses, and electrifying solos — pure, unapologetic rock and roll.
Opening the night is Astraea, a fierce and uncompromising Louth-based singer-songwriter whose haunting, honest performances are as emotional as they are powerful.
Three bands. One stage. All killer — no filler. Friday 14th November in Toales, Dundalk.
Saturday 15th November - ARCO ARENA + Noqturn + Cornerman - Doors 8PM - Admission only €8
This November 15th, Toales will host a night of high-voltage, genre-bending rock as Arco Arena take the stage with support from Cornerman and Astraea.
With tickets priced at just €8, this is one of the more accessible big nights of the autumn.
Hailing from Dundalk’s ever-evolving sonic landscape, Arco Arena have forged a sound entirely their own — a high-octane blend of heavy funk grooves, jagged time signatures, and hooks that demand movement.
This four-piece post-funk/dance-rock powerhouse doesn’t just play gigs; they create controlled chaos whilst delivering electrifying live shows packed with razor-sharp riffs, rapid-fire vocal interplay, and unpredictable shifts that keep audiences on their toes.
Every set feels like a shared moment between band and crowd — part precision, part madness, all energy.
Support on the night comes from Noqturn, a four-piece instrumental band from Westmeath and Dublin.
Formed by drummer Jamie Kelly (Megacone, Fanacanta) and flautist/keyboardist Tara O’Brien (Clarion Winds, Fanacanta), the lineup was completed with guitarist Ross Kelly (Megacone) and bassist Ryan Muller (Skewered).
Blending classical and metal influences, Noqturn create intricate, melody-driven compositions that shift from heavy riffs to cinematic flute passages.
Their sound draws comparisons to Tigran Hamasyan, Opeth, GoGo Penguin, and The Aristocrats.
Opener Cornerman blends delicate, heartfelt lyrics with a driving alt rock sound—packed with dramatic soundscapes and ear-grabbing hooks.
Expect a night where groove, aggression, and melody collide — a big, bold package designed to showcase where Irish original music can push itself.
