Dundalk School of Music (DSM) this week named the recipients of two annual scholarships to support upcoming musicians and vocalists.
The Liam Reilly Scholarship in honour of the late Liam Reilly - singer/songwriter of Bagatelle fame – was awarded to 15-year-old Aoibhe McEneaney, who has been studying classical violin in DSM for the past three years.
The Eileen McCaffrey-Kirk scholarship was awarded to 11-year-old Adam Senkus who has been with DSM for six years.
Adam plays drums and has also recently taken up piano lessons.

Founder and Director of DSM, Patricia Duffy said: “I’m delighted for Aoibhe and Adam, who are so deserving of this award.
"We are very lucky to have such a pool of wonderfully talented young musicians attending the school.
“I’d also like to thank both the Reilly Family, and the Kirk Family once again for their continued generosity in donating these two scholarships.”
