The brunette beauty is musical theatre performer and energy broker who says her type is "someone a bit pasty, like Timothy Chalamet", and she doesn't mind someone who is "scrawny" or "has a bit of a dad bod".

Megan went viral on Tik Tok for a Derry Girls skit she filmed with her friends which garnered her more that 12,000 likes on the popular video sharing app.

She also added that while in the villa, she will be looking for someone "who doesn't take themselves too seriously and has a sense of humour. If they're not bad looking, that's always a plus."

Megan joins the Irish alumni of Love island including Maura Higgins, Catherine Agbaje, Greg O'Shea and Yewande Biala, among others.

Love Island starts on Virgin Media One on Monday June 9 at 9pm.
