Sinead McNally and Greata Usaite
Creative Spark said it is delighted to announce the exhibition 'Equilibrium', a beautifully reflective and sensitive pop-up exhibition by Dundalk-based visual artist Greta Usaite and poet-composer Sinéad McNally.
This unique, exhibition launches on Thursday, 5th June at 7pm at the Creative Spark Downtown Hub, and runs until Friday, 4th July 2025.
The synchronicity of Greta and Sinéad’s meeting—just a few months ago—is a central theme in the exhibition.
A shared, profound connection with nature emerged during their very first conversation, forging an instant bond and sparking the exciting possibility of a joint creative project.
Equilibrium was conceptualised and realised entirely by the artists in a matter of months, representing a new friendship and a melding of artistic perspectives.

The exhibition presents a meditative exploration of the natural world and its emotional resonance.
It offers an intimate collection of works that capture moments of introspection and sensory connection with nature.
Greta Usaite, a visual artist and designer, is a member of the Creative Spark Print Studio.
She draws inspiration from the tranquillity and beauty of the natural world.
Her work invites viewers to experience a sense of calm and reflection, exploring the internal landscapes of emotion.
“What we think, feel, and interpret is not fixed. Reality itself feels veiled—shaped by awareness, and often clouded by its absence”, she said.
Using Indian ink, printmaking, and photographic processes, Greta explores the thresholds between the tangible and the transcendent.
Sinéad McNally, a wordsmith and composer, has long been fascinated by the playfulness and power of words and music.
She is drawn to the way sound and language can soothe, empower, and provoke emotion.
Like Greta, she explores the fluidity of meaning—carefully positioning words to evoke a visceral or emotional response.
