One Louth bar is still in disbelief following a visit from a well-known and loved American child star on Saturday, February 22.

Fitzpatrick's Bar and Restaurant sent shockwaves through the county after posting an image of none other than Tamera Mowry, one half of the infamous 'Sister, Sister' duo, a beloved teen television programme which aired in the 1990s on Nickelodeon.

Tamera became a household name after starring in this series for six seasons alongside her twin sister, Tia.

Many nostalgic fans of the show took to the comments reacting to the surprise visit.

One person said, "Oh my goodness she is such legend of an actress."

While another excited fan commented, "OMG screaming!!!"

A third joked, "Callans must've gotten the other one."

Confirming her reasoning behind visiting the emerald isle, Tamera took to social media and said, "Back at it in wonderful #Ireland with my fav ghost Eamon! Having the best time playing Gethsamane Brown shooting our mystery series! ☘️ #HauntedHarmonyMurderMysteries @risteardcooper Always a treat with this one."
