Last year's festival
Pupils and teachers throughout County Louth are eagerly preparing for Féile Dhún Dealgan, the annual Irish language Scoildrámaíocht festival. This year’s festival will take place in An Táin Theatre Dundalk on Thursday 27th February, 10.30am - 12:35pm, with local schools at both primary and secondary level taking part.
The festival gives students the opportunity to act, gain confidence and have fun all as Gaeilge.
Schools partaking in this year’s festival include St Joseph’s National School Dundalk, Coláiste Chú Chulainn Dundalk and Gaelscoil Phádraig Naofa from Crossmaglen. Winners at the competition will go on to represent the region in Féile Laighean/Uladh, the Leinster or Ulster Provincial Festival.
