Rowan Murphy and Geansaí
Dundalk's own Rowan Murphy will be playing live at a weekend of local Irish talent hosted by Toales Rock bar and live venue in Louth.
The weekend of gigs starts on Friday 24th January with free admission to "outstanding performances from top local acoustic talent."
The Friday show starts at around 9:30pm to kick off acoustic January at the live venue.
Rowan Murphy, along with supported acts Charlie Skipp and Cornerman, will all be playing at the venue.
Rowan Murphy is "a naturally gifted singer-songwriter inspired by the likes of The Sundays, Julianna Hatfield, Fleetwood Mac, and Joni Mitchell."
Saturday January 25th will showcase GEANSAÍ and special guest Catherine McCrystal at 9pm with another "unforgettable night of original music in a cozy, intimate setting."
Headline act Geansaí returns to bring his signature blend of parochial grunge-folk, delivered with wit, humanity, and a woolly jumper.

Tackling Ireland’s modern woes—from the housing crisis to the soaring price of spuds—Geansaí crafts songs that are equal parts humorous and thought-provoking.
Supporting him is Fireside Sessions newcomer Catherine McCrystal, a Northern Irish singer and acoustic guitarist with a naturally rich, American folk/country/bluegrass voice.
With over 15 years of experience performing at weddings and gigs, Catherine has decided to showcase her original songs alongside beautifully curated covers.
