They are one of the most iconic rock bands of all time and tickets sold out almost immediately this morning for ACDC in Croke Park with some fans feeling they were on a Highway to Hell with some of the prices.
The aged rockers still command a massive audience with the cheapest tickets of €86 plus booking fee for standing in Croke Park snapped up immediately.
Despite some hefty prices, fans were delighted to secure their tickets with the cheapest seats available early on Friday morning starting at €156 plus booking fees. That quickly rose to €176, and before 10 am, all that was available were platinum packages.
Some fans fumed that tickets for €335 for one person standing was daylight robbery. Others didn't care, once the tickets were sorted.
However, while some ACDC fans were thrilled to secure tickets, probably at any price, others were disgusted at the prices. Unlike the band's song Back in Black, fans would be very much in the red if they purchased a couple of tickets at the prices on offer.
