Scoil Mhuire na Trócaire Ardee's musical a super success!

4th Class from Scoil Mhuire Na Trócaire, Ardee performed “The Amazing Adventures of SuperStef” on their school stage last week.

To tremendous applause over two days they gave the audiences an unforgettable show that was quite simply... SUPER!

They packed a powerful punch with their delightful delivery of this marvellous musical.

They hadn’t been onstage since 1st Class due to Covid restrictions but they developed a real acting bug showcasing their tremendous talent and doing supreme justice to the wonderfully witty script, with its crazy characters, spectacular songs and lively dance routines.

The musical tells the story of Stefanie Marvel who becomes a hapless Superhero and saves the planet (and Ardee!) from the super villain, the Candy King.

There’s a crazy granny, a few mad minions and numerous characters who sang and danced their way through the show.

These accomplished 9-11 year olds tackled tongue twisting, technical scripts with ease.
Their funny script and punch lines had the audience in stitches!

“They demonstrated an amazing ability to induce a fondness for both villains and heroes alike, not to mention the thought they put into their props, costumes and wigs” said their proud teacher, Ms Mason.
