Reigning champions, Louth, begin the defence of the Delaney Cup when they travel to Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow, for their Leinster Senior Football Championship, quarter-final tie against Wexford on Sunday at 2.30pm.

Manager Gavin Devlin has made several changes to the side that faced Kildare last month in the National Football League.

Donal McKenny returns to the full-back line alongside Daire Nally and Dermot Campbell, who has recovered from injury, while Emmett Carolan is named at centre-half back, with Conall McKeever and Tadhg McDonnell on either flank.

Dara McDonnell lines out at midfield beside Conor Early, while Conor Grimes returns to the half-forward line to join Paul Mathews and captain, Sam Mulroy.

The full-forward line remains unchanged, with Ciarán Keenan, Conall McCaul and Kieran McArdle all named to start against the Slaneysiders.

There is added depth on the bench with Ryan Burns, Craig Lennon, Padraic Tinnelly, Tommy Durnin and Ciarán Downey all included after injury.

Subs: Tiernan Markey, Ryan Burns, Seán Callaghan, Ciarán Downey, Tommy Durnin, Leonard Gray, Craig Lennon, James Maguire, Sáan Reynolds, Padraic Tinnelly, and Anthony Williams.
