The death has occurred of Pat (Patricia) Kieran (née Muckian) of Sandyford, Dublin and formerly of Avenue Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

On 15 April, peacefully in the compassionate and tender care of the staff at the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook. Beloved wife of Ray Kieran, much-loved mother of Sharon and Paul, adored grandmother of Michelle, James and Mark, and predeceased by her sisters Sheila Murphy and Moya Carton. Pat will be sadly missed and remembered by all her loving family, relatives, neighbours, friends and all who knew her.

Reposing at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Pat to Friends of the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook.All enquiries to JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Jackie Lawlor of Riverwell Close, Dundalk, Co Louth and formerly London, England

On Wednesday, 15th April 2026 following a road accident. Predeceased by her father James, and nephew Bailey. Jackie will be forever loved and missed by her beloved partner and best friend Ollie Hughes, daughter Kirsty, son Dean, mother Bridie and step dad Paul, brothers Jason, Shane and Jodie, sisters Nicola and Chantel, Ollie’s daughter Serena, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Una Dunne (née Quinn) of Tower View, Tenure, Dunleer, Co Louth

Peacefully, following a very short illness on Thursday 16 April, surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her parents Tony and Cora, her sister Anne, her brothers-in-law Micky and Patrick and nephew Paddy.

She will be sadly missed by her much loved, devoted and heartbroken family, husband Joey, daughter Belinda, sons David, Barry and Daniel, her cherished grandchildren Kyle, Sophie, Gracie, Cillian, Liam, Luke, Conor, Finn, Alfie and Freddie, daughters-in-law Ciara, Yvonne and Jemma, her sisters Kathleen, Mary, Cindy and Cora, her brothers Anthony, James and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Reposing at her home in Tenure on Saturday from 4pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm. House private on Monday morning please. Removal to the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Tenure arriving for 12noon funeral mass. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Rev Fr Jim O'Connell of Dundalk Co Louth and formerly Dublin and Peru

On 16 April, peacefully in the care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Pre-deceased by his parents Charlie and Nora. Deeply regretted by his brother John, sister-in-law, Nuala, and his Marist Community. Much loved Uncle to Bronach, Áine, Máirín and Michael. Greatly missed by his extended family, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, Marist Confreres and his many friends and parishioners in Dundalk and Dublin.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church/Chapel, St. Mary's road, Dundalk, on Friday, arriving at 6.00pm. Requiem mass Saturday at 10am followed by interment at Balgriffin Cemetery, Dublin 17. Family flowers only, please.
