'I was getting so annoyed' - Influencer Aideen Kate shares engagement story
The influencer was surprised as Dave got down on one knee
Influencer Aideen Kate has unveilled the magic behind her proposal.
Aideen Kate grew her following during the pandemic and now is owner of her own beauty brand True Beauty.
The influencer was surprised as Dave got down on one knee with the most gorgeous scenery behind them.
Sharing the video to Instagram, Aideen said: "20.04.24…we’re engaged!"
The pair have been together for almost a decade and made the step of moving in together last October.
Their dog, Scout Kelly, a golden retriever who came into the couple's life last December also helped with the proposal.
Aideen has now shared their engagement story after being whisked away for a romantic weekend by Dave to Adare Manor, Co Limerick.
Aideen said: "I have had the craziest week since this has happened. Last Friday we were babysitting for friends of ours. We said we would babysit at 6pm and Dave said he would not be free until 8pm so I had to go on my own. I was so annoyed at him and I then learnt it was because he was trying to plan everything for the proposal. The plan for the next day was to get up and do a sunrise swim with our friends which would not be out of the norm for us. I did not think it was going to happen I was so shocked."
Many fans have shared their excitement for the couple as well as some famous friends.
Influencer Miriam Mullins said: "Scout pulling the flowers. Huge congrats Aideen."
Fans have also said, "this is now the standard".
