Dowdallshill GFC members make their annual Christmas run to St Oliver's

Tradition now in its 54th year

For the past 54 years, members of Dowdallshill GFC have made the Christmas morning run from St Brigid’s Park to St Oliver’s Hospital on the Dublin Road.

This year was no different, with a large group of club members making their way through the town before arriving at St Oliver’s to partake in some Christmas songs with those gathered.

Dundalk Democrat photographer Arthur Kinahan was on hand to capture one of the town’s oldest - and finest - traditions.
