Euro Antiques and Collectibles will be auctioning off items from The Fairways Hotel on Saturday October 1st.
The Fairways Hotel closed its doors on January 5th 2015, after the premises lost its liquor licence. The hotel also hosted a function room and nightclub.
The clearance auction will see items from the aforementioned areas of the hotel building sold off to the highest bidder.
Jimmy Cumiskey of Euro Antiques informed The Democrat as to what would be up for auction on the day.
“We will be auctioning off all 33 bedrooms, beds, a lot of famous people stayed in these bedrooms, from Charlie Haughey, to Joe Dolan and Dickie Rock. We will also be selling benches, chandeliers, tables, windows, bars, counters, mirrors, safes, lamps, sinks, toilet cubicles, chairs, cushions, blankets, sofas, stained glass, railing, fluorescent lights, dishwashers, cooking utensils, pots, pans, blenders , fridges, freezers, bar utensils and much, much more.
The auction will run from 10am – 3pm on the day. Be sure to head down to the Fairways Hotel for some guaranteed bargains. Euro Antiques & Collectables, which recently moved premises to The Long Walk Shopping Centre, is renowned for being your one stop shop for that special and unique gift.
