WATCH: Dundalk man's remarkable story about setting up an Irish restaurant in Japan

Dundalk man Alan Fisher has been discussing the remarkable story behind him setting up an Irish restaurant in Tokyo in Japan.

As part of a new short documentary series called “taste” for Japanese media company THYNK, Alan (35), describes how he came up with the idea and the story behind bringing his dream to life.

Alan is originally from St Gerard's Square, moved to Tokyo in 2008 to take up a role with an IT company, however he found his true culinary calling and in 2015 set up his restaurant - Kyojin Stewhouse (The Giant's Stewhouse).
