Despite suffering a heavy defeat in their previous outing, the Dreadnots started in a confident mood and raced into a 0-7 to no score lead before Craig Lynch got the Jocks off the mark with a two-pointer.
Adam Booth raised a white flag, but it wasn’t looking good at the break as his side trailed by 0-8 to 0-3.
However, the Mairtins started the second half in fine form as Joe McGrane landed a two-pointer before Tom Gray kicked over three in a row.
Doubles from Gray and Ben Callanan either side of a Dreadnots orange flag had the Mairtins leading by 0-12 to 0-11 at the end of the third quarter.

The hosts delivered the knock-out blow just after the restart when Tom McCann’s point was followed by 1-3 from McCann, with his haul including a two-pointer.
