Dundalk FC players receive overdue wages

Players and coaches at Oriel Park receive outstanding money
Dundalk FC players and coaches received their overdue wages this morning, resolving the payment issue that had persisted for over a week.
The club had failed to pay wages in a situation revealed by manager Jon Daly after their 2-1 defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic last week.
RTÉ reported that the players received their wages this morning from last week and this week. Club owner Brian Ainscough had reassured staff earlier in the week that the delay was temporary.
He expressed concerns about the club's financial future, noting the need for investment to ensure they can finish the season. Supporters have rallied behind the team and have currently raised over €16,000 through a GoFundMe page.
