The Creative Writing course in Aclint Community Hall ended last Tuesday and had been well attended. It is hoped, if funds are available, to hold a longer VEC course in September. Reflections. “REFLECTIONS on Reaghstown and Westerns GFC” by Brendan Matthews Proved a great success with the people of Reaghstown when it was published at the end of 2011and a subsequent reprint also was a tremendous hit. If you missed out on availing of a copy the good news is you can still do so by phoning the author Brendan on 041-6853712. It just costs €20 and I can assure you it is a thumping great read!
