The IBTS wishes to thank all who gave blood at their recent Blackrock Clinic held in the Fairways Hotel. There were 78 donors, two first time and seven former donors. To keep up the level of blood tranfusions in Irish Hospitals the IBTS need to collect approx 3000 donations per week Nationwide. Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda required 2511 units in 2011.


The numbers drawn in Darver/Dromiskin Parish Lotto of April 29 were 11,12,13 and 27. The jackpot was not won and now stands at €6400. Two people picked three numbers and share €200.

Scoil Dairbhre Annual Family &Sports Day.

The Family & Sports Day takes place on May 19 at the school. A Giant Draw with a total Prize Fund of €1500 will be held on the same day. Tickets avialable from any parent of school children.

Local GAA.

The Joe’s Junior team are doing well in the league having won their last four matches. They hosted Cooley last Sunday in Cluskey Park and were victorious on a scoreline of 1.16 to 2.7

Joe’s Lotto.

The numbers drawn in the Joe’s Lotto for Week 77 of April 28 were 18,15,29 and 31. The jackpot was not won and now moves to €13,200. he following picked three numbers and share €200, Gerry Gallagher c/o Tom Dooley, Finbar Shields c/o John Brennan, Linda Keaskin c/o Joey Neary, P. Arrowsmith c/o Daybreak Supermarket, Dromiskin.

St Pio Triduum.

Takes place in the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Dundalk on Monday May 20, Mass 7.30pm, Tuesday May 21, Mass and anointing of the Sick at 7.30pm, Wednesday May 22, Mass and Benediction at 7.30pm All are welcome, blessing with relic.
