Westerns juvenile training continues every Saturday from 11am to 12 noon in the Westerns field for ages 4 up to 12, boys & girls. The training is done by qualified coaches within the club and fully supervised. For further information contact Frank 087-7979878.

The Peoples Club
Members of The Peoples Club for the Actively Retired on Thursday9th May visited Tallanstown Old School in support of the Alzheimer’s Tea Day being held there. Mary Reilly and the people there raised €215 for this so deserving cause. The Peoples Club next meeting will be in Aclint Community Hall on this Thursday May 23rd 11am-1pm.
Blessing of Graves
Blessing of graves in the Parish of Tallanstown this will be held as follows; Sunday August 4th Reaghstown 12 noon, Philipstown 2pm, Clonkeen 7pm. Sunday August 11th Charlestown 1.30pm, Tallanstown (old) 2pm, Tallanstown (new) 3pm.
“Reflections on Reaghstown and Westerns GFC” proved a very popular book when it was published at the end of 2011 and a subsequent reprint was a tremendous success.
