Knockbridge Village notes

Good Morning Louth

Good Morning Louth

Good Morning Louth is a telephone service for older people living in Co. Louth. Its main aim is to ensure the older person is safe and secure in their home and to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness with a friendly phone call. In addition the service will provide opportunities for users to share worries and concerns and will raise awareness of other potentially useful services, thus connecting the older person to their local community. The service is free and confidential and calls are made by volunteers who are fully trained and garda vetted, Contact Anne Murphy, project coordinator at 042-9330103

Yes, the overall winner will receive a cheque for €200 plus the Kathleen Farrell Perpetual Trophy. 2nd Prize winner will receive a cheque for €100 and 3rd Prize is €50. A nice little sum of money all round. So as the story goes, “...if you’re not in you can’t win...” All you have to do to enter the competition is complete the application form that you can pick up in Brodigan’s Foodstore in the village and return the completed form to the box provided in Brodigan’s. All of the above is private and will only be opened by the appropriate tidy towns volunteers.
