Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Alice Conachy,Lurgangreen who died recently. Burial took place in Dromiskin cemetery.


Best wishes to all the boys and girls and their families, from the parish who were confirmed by Cardinal Sean Brady last Saturday.


The numbers drawn in Darver/Dromiskin Parish Lotto of April 22 were 5,11,12 and 28. The jackpot was not won and now stands at €6200. Peter Mc Keown and Sandy Keane picked three numbers and share €200.

Horseware Louth Co Show.

The show took place over last week end in the grounds of Mr&Mrs Tommy Mc Guinness, Dromiskin. The show is in aid of charity and is sponsored by Horseware, Dundalk. There was €10,000 in prize money. In showjumping Padddy O’ Donnell took the Louth Co Grand Prix with Harristown Princess. 2nd Dermot Lennon with Vampire, 3rd Alexander Butler with Riverside Ace, 4th Edward Doyle with Samgemjee, 5th Frank Cullon with New Werd, 6th Alexander Butler with Will Wimble.

Joe’s Lotto.

The numbers drawn in the Joe’s Lotto for week 77 of April 28 were 18,25,29 and 31. The jackpot was not won and moves to €13,200.
