There is a jam-packed lineup in Toales Live Venue in Dundalk again this week.

Wednesday 24th September - REGINALD D. HUNTER - Doors 7.30pm - limited tickets available.

El Paso Comedy Club is set to welcome one of the most distinctive voices in stand-up to Dundalk, as acclaimed comedian Reginald D. Hunter takes to the stage on Wednesday, 24th September at Toales Live Venue.

Known for his unflinching honesty, razor-sharp observations, and rich, Southern-American drawl, Hunter has been a fixture on the UK and Irish comedy circuits for more than two decades.

His thought-provoking and often provocative takes on race, politics, and everyday life have earned him a devoted following and regular appearances on hit TV shows such as Have I Got News For You and QI.

The evening will be hosted by Elizabeth Redmond, whose quick wit and warm stage presence have made her a favourite with El Paso audiences.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with limited tickets priced at €18 via Eventbrite.

With Hunter’s trademark blend of charm, bite, and fearless commentary, this promises to be an unmissable night of laughter at one of Dundalk’s top live venues.

Thursday 25th September - Fireside Sessions presents DOMINIC JONES + Rarewitch - free admission - starts 9pm.

Toales’ Fireside Sessions has built a reputation for bringing the weird, the wonderful, and the wildly talented to its glowing corner of Dundalk—and on Thursday 25th September it takes another unforgettable turn.

Taking the stage is Dominic Jones—a heretic, an Englishman, and a master of “embodied gobshitery”.

Trained in the arts of loquacious persuasion, Jones blends lament and flattery into narrative melodies that cling to you long after the pint glass is empty.

His performances are equal parts haunting and hilarious, conjuring images that return to you in the dead of night—or, perhaps, in less dignified festival moments.

A self-styled “existential Teletubby of Leinster,” Jones offers the sage reminder: “Unless the clay is in the mouth the singer’s singing is useless.”

Support comes from Rare Witch, a Belfast-based artist, animator, filmmaker, and musician.

Her music is a chaotic fusion of abstract comedy, razor-sharp social commentary, and some of the most unlikely overhand banjo playing you’re ever likely to witness.

As always, Fireside Sessions keeps it free, the fire will be glowing, and the music starts from 9pm. Grab a seat, grab a pint, and prepare for an evening that promises the surreal, the soulful, and the strangely sublime.

Friday 26th September - MARK & LUKE + Gynophobia + Peer Pleasure - €10 adm - Doors open 8pm.

Toales Live Venue in Dundalk continues its run of genre-bending nights with a triple-header on Friday 26th September that promises something truly different.

Headlining the night are Mark and Luke, a self-described lab-grown two-piece math rock band whose angular rhythms, experimental riffs, and stripped-back intensity have been turning heads on the Irish live circuit.

Expect precision playing, intricate patterns, and plenty of raw energy from this unique duo.

Support comes in the form of Gynophobia, a band proudly billing themselves as “the cure to the modern ideal known as music”.

With their unconventional approach and confrontational sound, they’re certain to keep the crowd guessing.

Also on the bill are Peer Pleasure, returning to the Toales stage and delivering their trademark brand of rough ’n’ rowdy rock ’n’ roll—loud, unpolished, and straight to the gut.

Saturday 27th September - THE GRUDGE - Ireland's Ultimate TOOL Tribute + A Perfect Circle Tribute THIRTEENTH STEP - Doors 8pm - Admission only €12.

Dundalk, get ready! The Grudge returns to Toales Live Venue on Saturday, September 27th, bringing a mind-bending, over two-hour set that’s as close to Tool as it gets.

With spine-tingling precision, The Grudge channels Tool’s raw power, haunting melodies, and intricate soundscapes, pulling from all five albums to deliver a dark, hypnotic, and unforgettable sonic journey.

And support on the night comes from none other than Thirteenth Step, the amazing tribute to A Perfect Circle.

This rare Dundalk show is not just a gig—it’s an experience. Don’t miss out.Doors open 8pm. Tickets on sale now at Eventbrite
