Dundalk Women's Aid to  hold empowering drama event and discussion

The event takes place at the Louth County Museum in Dundalk

Join Women's Aid Dundalk at the County Museum Dundalk for an afternoon of empowerment and awakening on Wednesday November 27th. This event aims to celebrate and uplift women in Dundalk and work towards ending violence against women and children.

This event will comprise of a performance by Catherine Ferrin (Silver Sister) who is the Women’s Network Coordinator in greater North Belfast. Catherine utilises her knowledge and experience through the medium of drama to raise awareness of the impact of Domestic/Sexual abuse and coercive control.

Catherine's performance, titled Sarah's Story, will be followed by a discussion panel. The panel will be composed of those who work in the field of domestic violence and those whose lives that have been personally affected by violence against women.
