More than one million lights is transforming Skypark in Carlingford into an enchanted winter forest with Adventure Lights returning to the Cooley Peninsula until January 2027.

Skypark Adventure Lights has returned to Carlingford with over one million lights.

After welcoming almost 30,000 visitors last year, Adventure Lights returns with The Lost Kingdom, an illuminated adventure beneath the stars inspired by Irish mythology, Celtic legends and magical creatures.

Visitors can follow the trail through enchanted pathways, shimmering tunnels and spectacular light displays, with plenty of family fun along the way.

Located on the Dundalk Road in Carlingford, Skypark is Ireland’s largest adventure park, offering land and aerial activities against the backdrop of the Cooley Mountains.

Thomas McArdle, CEO of McArdle Adventure Group, said: “There is something very special about this time of year in Carlingford.

“As the evenings draw in, Adventure Lights brings a magical atmosphere to Skypark and gives families the chance to wrap up, head outdoors and enjoy an evening together.

“This year, we’ve created even more to see and do, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming new and returning guests to Carlingford and the beautiful Cooley Peninsula.”

Skypark Adventure Lights runs from 24th October 2026 to 3rd January 2027 at Skypark, Dundalk Road, Moneymore, Carlingford, Co. Louth.
