Joint operation targets fare evasion and anti-social behaviour on Louth rail services

Yesterday members of the Community Engagement team joined forces with staff from Iarnród Éireann in Drogheda for a joint operation aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour and fare evasion on local rail services.

During the initiative, rail inspectors carried out ticket inspections, with a number of fines issued to passengers travelling without valid tickets.

The operation formed part of ongoing efforts to promote safer journeys for passengers and to address anti-social behaviour across the rail network in Louth.
