Roche make it six from six in Division 3A after seeing off Na Piarsaigh

Roche Emmets stretched their lead at the top of Division 3A to three points thanks to this latest victory over Na Piarsaigh on Friday night.

Roche Emmets stretched their lead at the top of Division 3A to three points thanks to this latest victory over Na Piarsaigh on Friday night.

With second placed Lannleire dropping a point against Glen Emmets, the Faughart men took full advantage as they strengthened their advantage in the title race. It proved to be another difficult evening for Na Piarsaigh as they slipped to second from bottom in the table.

With Barry O’Hare once again leading the way in terms of scoring, Roche had built up a healthy 0-9 to 0-2 lead at half-time.

The second half saw Roche continue to dominate and substitute Niall McArdle contributed 1-3 to see his side run out comfortable winners despite the fact that Na Piarsaigh scored two goals after the break.
