Kilkerley claim Sheelan Shield as Roche win Mullen Plate

Kilkerley pipped Naomh Máirtín to the Sheelan Shield crown at Páirc Emmiti on Friday night, 2-16 to 3-4

Although Emmets only led by a point at the break, 2-6 to 2-2, due to Daniel McKeown’s goal. Tadhg McEnaney opened the second half with three points to add to his earlier four and when Conor Quigley rattled the net it was over as a contest.

Roche claimed the Kevin Mullen Plate with victory over Westerns in Reaghstown on Saturday afternoon.

Paddy McGuinness’ men were always in control and emerged as 4-16 to 0-6 winners.
