Dundalk's Kentucky Derby Race Night cancelled

Dundalk's Kentucky Derby Race Night has been rescheduled for next week.

Horse Racing Ireland have confirmed rescheduled dates for meetings at Dundalk Stadium effected by this week's adverse weather conditions. 

Tonight's event - the Kentucky Derby Race Night - was cancelled on Wednesday and will now run on Friday March 9th. Fresh entries close at 12pm on Monday March 5th, with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Thursday March 8th. 

That event will feature the €75,000 32Red Patton Stakes (Listed) which is a qualifying race in this years European Road to the Kentucky Derby series and the 32Red All-Weather Championship Fillies & Mares Fast Track Qualifier.

The original Dundalk meeting scheduled for Friday March 9th has now been transferred to take place on the following Monday afternoon, March 12th. Entries close at 12pm on Wednesday March 7th with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Sunday March 11. 

Greyhound racing and greyhound trials which were scheduled for Saturday March 3rd have been cancelled.
