NEFL Division Two
Redeemer Celtic 6 Parkvilla 3
Wojceich Gladysz scored his second hat-trick in two-weeks as Redeemer Celtic continued their relentless march towards Division One with victory over Parkvilla in Muirhevnamor on Sunday afternoon.
Stephen Fisher's side produced a stunning first-half performance to put the match out of Parkvilla's reach with Kevin McCormack their standout performer.
Seán Bailey put them in front on 20-minutes after excellent build-up play involving Gladysz and McCormack before the latter doubled the advantage. The winger turned his marker inside and out and fired low to the corner of the net.
And Gladysz made it 3-0 shortly before half-time with a powerful surge and finish.
Parkvilla pulled a goal back early in the second-half, however, another powerful run and finish from Redeemer's on fire attacker, Gladysz, reinstated their comfortable three-goal buffer.
Parkvilla were next to strike, a goal which Bailey chalked off at the other end, controlling a delivery and turning on a six-pence to fire past the visiting 'keeper with his left foot.
Some defensive confusion allowed Parkvilla in for their third goal of the afternoon, however, the contest wouldn't have been complete had Gladysz not converted his third, which he did in his typically robust style. The striker powered through on goal and dispatched clinically to ensure they emphatically picked up their ninth win of the campaign. They sit third, a single point behind Hazel Lane and Bailieboro Celtic.
