Castleblayney Credit Union job vacancy | Member Services Officer - full time permanent position

Castleblayney Credit Union is a modern, member-focused credit union whose primary aim is to provide financial services that meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our growing membership.

We are seeking applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to be a key member of a high performing member services team in a growing organisation. 

The Role

The successful candidate will report to Operations Manager of the credit union and will be responsible for carrying out a range of operational and administrative duties that will contribute to the effective running of the day-to-day operations of the credit union while providing excellent member service. 

Provide a quality service to the members at the counter, enabling them to make lodgements, withdrawals, make loan applications, draw down loans and make repayments.

Accurately and diligently handle cash; reconcile balances at the end of the day.

Work always in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, preserving confidentiality and adhering strictly to all policies and procedures of the Credit Union

Undertake relevant training as deemed necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant qualification in business/finance.
Experience working in the financial services sector is preferable, but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Word.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
Marketing skills an advantage
Flexible and be able to respond to changing business requirements.
Ability to multitask while maintaining high standards.
QFA, CUA or actively working towards a qualification in either is preferable, although not essential

Saturday work will be a requirement on a rota basis.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
