Culture Night 2026, which took place last Friday night, saw a host of events taking place in Dundalk and across Louth.
Culture Night offered an opportunity for people of all ages to experience the rich creativity, heritage and cultural life of Dundalk and beyond.
Dundalk Democrat photographer, Arthur Kinahan, visited some of the events taking place in the town.
Among the events in Dundalk on Friday, Bó Studios at Jocelyn St hosted a live street art demonstration, while just across the road at the County Museum, an African Culture night took place.
The night also saw acclaimed local singer-songwriter David Keenan perform a special Culture Night performance at Dundalk Library, alongside Brendan McCreanor and Tadhg Mulligan.
The evening brought together original songs, traditional influences and storytelling in an intimate setting, celebrating the strength and diversity of contemporary Irish music.
