LOCAL suicide prevention charity Save Our Sons and Daughters (SOSAD) is set to hold its second annual ‘Remembrance Service’ in Dundalk.
The remembrance service is for family and friends who have lost their loved ones through suicide. It will be held in the Redemptorist Church, St Alphonsus Road, Dundalk on Sunday, November 27 at 7pm.
The service will be an opportunity for family and friends from all over the North East region to come together to reflect and recall memories of their loved ones.
Families and friends are invited to take along a photograph or other personal memorabilia to the service, which will be celebrated by Fr Michael Cusack.
There will also be a remembrance candlelight procession. SOSAD is also inviting members of the community who wish to remember their loved ones regardless of how they died.
SOSAD is a suicide prevention, intervention and support organisation, which also offers bereavement support to those who have lost loved ones to suicide.
