PEOPLE applying for social housing through Louth Local Authorities have been urged to complete and return a housing needs assessment form they will receive this month.
The Housing Assessment Unit of Louth Local Authorities is carrying out a housing needs assessment with forms being distributed by post from March 11 and required to be returned by Friday 5 April.
The forms will be sent to those who have current applications in for housing.
This is to get an accurate picture of their current accommodation needs.
The process will allow applicants to ensure Louth Local Authorities have accurate information on which to assess their eligibility for housing support.
Mr Joe McGuinness, Director of Services, Housing and Emergency Services, Louth Local Authorities said it is important that households respond to this request to confirm what they are entitled to.
