A probation report is to be prepared on a 36-year-old man who was alleged to have been found by Gardai with e190 worth of amphetamines and e10 worth of cannabis on December 12.

Solicitor Peter Lavery said that his client had had a problem with drugs at the time. He was keen to go to college and eventually to emigrate to the US. Judge Flann Brennan put the case to September 11 for reports.
