A 41-year-old solider facing two charges of assault causing harm had his case adjourned to July for the preparation of a book of evidence.
Richard Cleary of Hazelwood Avenue, Bay Estate was allowed to change to a Tuesday to sign on at a Garda Station instead of Monday as a condition of his bail.
He is alleged to have committed the offences on November 29th last at Collon.
The Director of Public has directed that the case be dealt with on indictment in the circuit court, Inspector Brendan Cadden told Ardee Court.
It was adjourned for the service of the Book of evidence to July 8
