The event will take place on Friday the 8th of June and will see a nurse providing a variety of women’s health orientated tests at reduced prices.

As well as tips and advice, tests available on the day will include menopause, cholesterol, thyroid and iron.

Commenting on the event, Emma Clarke, Pharmacist, McCabe’s Pharmacy Carroll Village said: “We’re excited to be hosting an event that focuses specifically on women’s health. In the current climate many women put their own health on the long finger for an array of reasons as they are juggling kids or their career or due to financial constraints. Having our nurse instore provides the opportunity for these busy women to stop for a second and focus on their own well-being. Many women don’t realize that these tests are so easily available and it’s our aim to make these more accessible and create greater health awareness in the community.”

McCabe’s Pharmacy has run a series of health events and seminars in the past year and continues to provide a programme of events to promote a higher health awareness amongst the community.

Tests are available by appointment only on Friday 8th June at a reduced price. For more information or to book an appointment phone 042 935 2053.
