MEMBERS of Dundalk No Name Club are invited to attend its annual general meeting (AGM) in the Outcomers Hall, Roden Place on Wednesday, January 11.
The meeting is due to start at 8pm and will see a new committee elected for 2012. New members are also welcome to attend the AGM.
The No Name Club is a national organisation which caters for 15 to 18 year olds and organises activities and events for the teenagers where the pressures of alcohol or drugs are removed.
The No Name Club has nearly 50 clubs around the 26 counties. It offers an alternative to the pub culture and works with the teenagers to develop areas such as confidence, communications leadership skills, self esteem and giving them experience of responsibility and decision making.
The club meets weekly on Friday nights at the Outcomers hall between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, and a wide range of activities which include games nights, movie nights, table quizzes, discos, and chill and chat nights are organised.
This meeting is open to everybody and new adult volunteers are welcome.
