FOLLOWING the success of last year, Dundalk will again be the host town to this year’s international market on May 13 and May 14.
The market will be held on Clanbrassil Street and Earl Street this year due to the Market Square being out of use.
This year’s market will offer a variety of international food, jewellery, souvenirs, collectables and much more. With lots of stalls to choose from, this year’s open-air setting in the heart of Dundalk promises to be a must-see for all.
Organised by Dundalk Town Centre Commercial Manager, the market will feature a strong Dundalk local producers’ presence.
Entertainment will be provided for both days with performances from local musicians, street entertainment and more.
Road closures will be in places for both days. The closures will involve closing Clanbrassil Street from the junction with Yorke Street to the junction with Bachelors Walk from 7pm on May 12 to 7pm on May 14.
The deadline for objections in relation to the temporary closure of the road to Dundalk Town Council passed on Tuesday, April 26.
Alternative routes will be put in place and disruption will be kept to a minimum. Car park access from Clanbrassil Street to Boyd’s car park will be kept open and traffic will be diverted around Clanbrassil Street via Longwalk and Chapel Street.
If you have specific requests regarding delivery, disabled parking, residence etc please contact Andrew Mawhinney at the TCCM office.
