Louth County Enterprise Board (LCEB) is inviting members of the local business community to attend a seminar by the former governor of Mountjoy Prison.
John Lonergan, former governor of Mountjoy Prison will share his views on his management philiopsophy in Dundalk on Friday, March 11.
The seminar entitled ‘From Prison to the Boardroom - Managing with Respect’ will be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dundalk.
Having worked in one of the most difficult and complex jobs in the country, Mr Longergan will address the issue of Managing with Respect in the upcoming seminar.
Mr Longergan’s experiences often involved trying to balance the demands and expectations of many interest groups.
The seminar will also officially launch equal@work, an initiative led by Louth County Enterprise Board to provide SME and micro-businesses across Co Louth with an online guide for encouraging best practice in managing diversity as a business resource.
Registration for the March 11 seminar is due to take place between 9.15am and 10am. The seminar will run from 10am to 12pm. Attendance at the event is free but spaces are strictly limited so early booking is advised.
