Rachel Hanna of Bell Media won Best New Business Award 2016 at the Local Enterprise Awards in 2016
The Local Enterprise Office is searching for the best small businesses in Co. Louth to take part in The National Enterprise Awards.
Organised by the National network of Local Enterprise Offices, the awards celebrate the achievements of Ireland’s micro-enterprise sector and celebrate the success stories of small business owners from all over the country.
In addition to enjoying extensive media coverage, National Finalists will compete for a separate €41,000 Prize Fund.
The Louth winners will represent county Louth at the National Enterprise Awards Finals which will take place on Thursday 24th May 2018 in the Mansion House Dublin.
Applications can only be accepted from businesses which employ ten or fewer employees. Additionally, all applicants must be current clients of LEO LOUTH i.e. must have received or qualified for at least one of the following supports in the past: a Feasibility Study Grant, Business Priming Funding, Business Expansion Funding, LEO Innovation Investment Fund (LIIF) Support, IBYE Support, TAME Support, Trading Online Voucher or LEO LOUTH clients who have transferred to Enterprise Ireland within the last 12 months are also eligible and previous County finalists are eligible to enter.
Three finalist businesses will be selected to share the County final prize fund of €5,000.
The county competition will take place on 9th March 2018 at a Business Networking Event as part of Enterprise Week 2018. The winners will be presented with specially commissioned awards and monetary prizes.
The Awards Ceremony is a celebration of the diverse range of businesses in the County, and a great Networking event. National adjudication takes place during the weeks beginning 9th & 16th April 2018.
