Changes on the way for North East farming

Zurich Insurance has announced the appointment of Barry Clarke as its new Farm Business Development Manager for the North of Leinster, Ireland.

In his role, Mr. Clarke will be working with farmers on a local level, to develop and enhance Zurich’s farming business, and continue to provide  services in the area. 

Mr. Clarke previously held the role of Area Manager and Sales Executive with FBD Insurance in Navan, for 14 years. Prior to that, Mr. Clarke worked as a Sales Rep for Wurth Ireland in Meath and Louth. 

Commenting on the appointment, Lorcan Harding, Director of Sales and Distribution, Zurich Insurance Ireland said: “Barry brings with him the sales and management experience and business knowledge to make a significant contribution to the company. He will be instrumental in our growth in the agricultural sector, developing and improving our offering for years to come.”

Mr. Clarke holds a Bachelor in Business Studies from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and is a member of the Irish Farmers Association.
