It was craic agus ceol for St.Vincent's Gaeilge students in The Lisdoo recently when second years took part in an inter-schools Table Quiz and Céilí.

The inter-schools table quiz and ceili is organised by Gaelinn.

The event aims to encourage students to use their language skills in a fun and practical setting.

The students had previously taken part in a table quiz in school, which raised over €500 for the Dundalk Dog Rescue, and the top teams qualified for the main event. Team members Niamh Lowth, Bridget Mackin, Niamh Cairns and Maeve McNamee were joint winners of the quiz alongside Colaiste Lu.

Irish teacher Cathy Donaghy thanked all the teams that took part in the annual event which successfully combines music, dancing and general knowledge agus an cupla focal.
